GENERAL INFORMATION AND RULES

Championship Flight: May 23rd, 24th, and 25th
All players must have a 5.4 index or better to participate. There is no age limit. This flight will be contested over 54 holes at stroke play. There will be a cut after the first 36 holes and low 40 and ties will compete on Monday over the last 18 holes. In the event of a tie for first place there will be a sudden death playoff starting at the first hole. All other ties will split the prizes for the places which they tie for. The entry fee will cover green fess, range balls, and prize fund. N.C.G.A. points will be awarded. All applications must have entry fee attached.
Ladies Championship: May 16th & 17th
This flight will be contested over 36 holes. The player with the lowest gross score will be crowned the Fresno City Ladies Amateur Champion. There will be gross and net winners. Prizes will be awarded according to the size of the field. First place ties will be decided by a sudden death playoff starting at the first hole. All other ties will split the prizes for the places in which they tie for. There is no handicap restriction, but all players in the handicap portion must have an established index verifiable through their GHIN #. Players will be at scratch if there is no GHIN # on the application. The entry fee will cover green fess, range balls, and prize fund. All applications must have entry fee attached.
Senior Championship: May 16th & 17th
Players must have reached their 55th birthday by May 17th, 2008 and must have a 5.4 index or better to participate. This flight will be contested over 36 holes and in the event of a tie for first place we will have a sudden death playoff starting at the first hole. All other ties will split the prizes for the places which they tie for. The entry fee will cover green fess, range balls, and prize fund. N.C.G.A. points will be awarded. All applications must have entry fee attached.
Handicap Flights: May 16th & 17th
These flight’s will be according to current May handicap index’s. The flights will be arranged so we have competitive flights of 24 to 32 players. There will be no senior handicap flight. There are no handicap restrictions, but all players must have an established index verifiable through their GHIN #. Players will play at scratch if there is no GHIN # on the application. All handicaps will be adjusted to Riverside Golf Course. First place ties will be decided by a sudden death playoff starting on the first hole. All applications must have entry fee attached.
Master’s Flight: May 16th & 17th
All players must have a 5.4 index or better to participate. Ages 40 to 54 (40 as of May 17th, 2008 and not reached 55 by May 18th, 2008). The flight will be contested over 36 holes with all competitors competing at scratch. In the event of a tie for first place there will be a sudden death playoff starting at the first hole. All other ties will split the prizes for the places which they tie for. The entry fee will cover green fess, range balls, and prize fund. N.C.G.A. points will be awarded. All applications must have entry fee attached.
